Position Summary
The Digital Transformation Consultant helps organizations define and implement strategies to modernize business processes, technology, and culture through digital initiatives. This role combines business analysis, technology strategy, and change management to drive efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage. The consultant works closely with executives, IT teams, and business units to deliver measurable outcomes through digital adoption, process automation, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Advisory
- Assess current business processes, technology landscape, and digital maturity.
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation, automation, and process improvement.
- Develop digital strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Solution Design & Implementation
- Recommend technology solutions, platforms, and architectures to support digital initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT, AI/ML, cloud, and automation teams to design scalable digital solutions.
- Support implementation of digital tools, platforms, and workflows.
Business Analysis & Process Optimization
- Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and define requirements for digital solutions.
- Map “as-is” and “to-be” processes and provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop KPIs and metrics to measure the success of digital transformation initiatives.
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage stakeholders across business units to ensure adoption of digital solutions.
- Provide training, documentation, and guidance to facilitate change.
- Monitor adoption, gather feedback, and iterate solutions to optimize impact.
Research & Innovation
- Stay current on emerging technologies (cloud, AI, automation, IoT, analytics) and industry trends.
- Evaluate new digital tools and platforms for potential implementation.
- Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience in business consulting, IT strategy, or digital transformation roles.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, cloud platforms, AI/ML, automation, and modern IT architecture.
- Experience conducting business process analysis and defining digital roadmaps.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in organizational change management or process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AR/VR, blockchain, and edge computing.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams or leading digital initiatives.
